6.1. Introduction


The power supply system turns on the rotational fuel pump of high pressure (FPHP) which is put in action by a belt of the drive of the camshaft, a nozzle, a turbocompressor, the fuel filter with the toplivopodkachivayushchy pump, fuel-supply lines and starting candles. On cars with the 95 h.p. engines 4D56 and 4D56T , besides, the air-air cooler is established.

From 1991 model years on cars with engines 4D56T the system of the accelerated prestarting heating is installed.
Air filter of the Mitsubishi brand.
The fuel tank is stamped from a steel sheet and installed in a back part of the car.

Capacity, l:
– korotkobazny two-door car: 60 (till 1991) and 75 (after 1991);
– long-wheelbase four-door car: 92.

The fuel pump of high pressure like the Diesel Kiki brand is supplied with the vserezhimny regulator of speed and the hydraulic regulator of an advancing of injection.

Frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine idling, rpm: 700–800.
Initial corner of an advancing of supply of fuel after VMT:
– engines 4D56, 4D56T: 70.

On engines nozzles of the Diesel Kiki brand with the screwing-up case are applied.
Can be applied both standard nozzles, and reduced.

Pressure of the beginning of injection, kgf/cm2: 118–128.
Resistance of starting candles, megohm: 250.
Engines are equipped with the turbocompressor using energy of exhaust gases for pressurization of the engine.

Increasing the weight amount of air coming to cylinders the turbocompressor promotes more effective combustion of the increased fuel dose at the expense of what engine capacity at moderate thermal tension increases.

On the 95 h.p. engine 4D56 and 4D56T the soaked-up air is cooled with an air-air cooler.

Since May, 1991 the engine 4D56 is completed with a new turbocompressor with higher performance data which, in particular, were provided due to increase in length of the inlet pipeline and change of geometry of a final path.

Pressure of pressurization, kgf/cm2:
– 95 h.p. engine 4D56: 0,78;
– engine 4D56T: 0,82.

Cooling of air in the heat exchanger is provided with the electric fan which turning on and switching off is carried out by the sensor of turning on of the electric fan of a cooler installed on the cooler case.
Since May, 1991 the useful area of a cooler of the engine 4D56T is increased by 25% in comparison with a cooler, being established on cars with the 95 h.p. engine 4D56.
The sensor of turning on of the electric fan of the heat exchanger works at a temperature more than 50 °C.
